Subject: It's a Boy!

Hi Everybody,

You might not know me but I was briefed about you all by mom and dad and thought it would be good idea to personally introduce myself before I get a chance to meet all of you.

It was rough ride but I finally made it. I have no name yet but I was told by my dad and mom that I could call myself Aniketh Ramanujam till they decide what name is right for me and I am sure they would come up with a good one. For that matter I like Anikaith myself maybe I should talk to mom and dad about that. Anyways I will keep you posted if there are any changes.

My mom, Sai Lakshmi Ramanujam, and dad, Sanjay Ramanujam, wanted me to let you know I arrived safely this morning on May 3^rd 2002 at 08: 45 AM.

My name is Aniketh Ramanujam, and I weigh 8 pounds, 0.1 ounces (that's nine ounces more than my mom when she was born.)  I'm 22 inches long (which is a whole inch Longer than my daddy was when he was born.)

My mom says she feels tired but pretty good. She wanted me to let you all know even though she was looking forward for a normal delivery she was forced to go through a (“C-Section”, whatever that means). I guess I got a little naughty in the last minutes and the doctors were forced to do what ever they had to do to stop me from getting naughty any further to avoid  complications. She worked 12 hours, I was told to get me here, but I don't remember much of it. My dad and grandma were with her and helped as much as they could. Wish grandpa was there too but I was told later that they very much wanted to be there and would be coming to see me soon.

They tell me I was two weeks early in getting here, but that's because I was very eager to see you all. The doctor was worried about me at first, but after he checked me over he said I would be fine. When they put me in my bassinet I managed to move sideways all by myself. I looked around a lot, made a bunch of sounds and didn't cry very much at all.

My mom and I are at Shady Groove Hospital. My daddy says I may get to go home Sunday and that would make him and my mom very thankful, but we may stay here until Monday, it's up to my mom and dad you know what I mean it is to early for me to give them a hard time I will save that for the future.

I gotta run now, its time for my nap. My mom Sai and dad Sanjay told me to tell you they hope to talk to you real soon or for that matter having known my dad for sometime now he must have already spoken to you all.

Dear Ramanujam Jr…                                                                                                                                                                      

Welcome to our world. You are the cutest thing we have seen in a while… precious as you are… we wish you all the luck in growing to be like ur mamma and papa… to be a wonderful little kid… full of joy laughter and… mischief ofcource… like all good kids grow up… you have two very dear parents that we cherish very much… and have some most treasured moments with… soon ull be part of those moments too… and we are waiting eagerly as ever to hold, cuddle and pinch ur dear cheeks.

As u grow up id like u to take a few points or rather some guide lines as to how to handle ur lovable Mamma and Pappa… they are sweet as they are… can be strict… they shower all their love when u need it but when you have to get a spank u may get one… especially ur Pappa… he is the one you have to look out for. Your mamma is an angel… now don’t let that go to your head… Smile and be good keep them awake at night and sleep sweetly during the day… lol.

If have a problem at hand… like most kids that come here are scared of words like doctor… Injection… etc… thatll be kids play for u… with Mom as Doc she will make sure you get a painless treatment when needed.

Any ways darling be good and yes… smile… a big grin… ur the one weve been waiting for to put that grin on all our faces.
